Noticed Bumps Around Chin Due To Scar , What Could Be The Problem ?

I got stitches on my chin, a little under my lip; from a bicycle accident when I was 8 years old, I am 17 years old now. I get occasional little or biggish white or raised bumps around or on my scar, and they are hard and I always mistake them for pimples but there not pimples. Is it something I should worry about? And what are they? And what causes then?

Hello friend,

It is little difficult to tell what exactly your lesions are.

I will be able to tell you if i can really see the lesions, how the look like!!

are the lesions itchy?
Do they persist or resolve spontaneously?

The best possible diagnosis as per explaination is MILIA.... the keratin material deposits mostly found on face.

So, at this point of time, i can only suggest you to consult your dermatologist so that he/she can really visualize the lesions .

Or i can help you further if you can upload the pic and answer my questions so that correct diagnosis is made and treatment can be started.
