Noticed Bunch Of Red Flat Spots On Arm, No Itching, Had Dm1, Celiacs. What Could They Be?

last night i noticed a bunch of red flat bruise like spots on myleft arm (12 or so). ttonight i also have some on my right arm. they do not itch but are tender to the touch. I have not used any new soaps, detergents etc. i have dm1 and celiacs and have not had gluten. what could they be?

Hi

From the description , it looks like you might have developed lesions of vasculitis over the arms. A
There lesions occurs due to inflammation in the blood vessels and the resulting moving out of the blood cells from the blood vessels.
This condition essentially needs a thorough examination and management.
It is common associated with other conditions and autoimmune disorders as well.
Sometimes even a skin biopsy is done for confirmation of diagnosis.
I would advise you to see a dermatologist for the same.
