Noticed Red Blotches On Foot After Prolonged Driving. Area Is Bruised And Painful. What Is It?

Hi there after driving for a long time yesterday approx 6 hours, I noticed red blotches on my foot and inside of my ankle and shin. They do not itch my leg isn't swollen and the blotches are warm to touch, if I touch them the skin feel bruised and stings a little and the area hurts when I walk/stand up for a time. What could it be?

Hi

Thanks for writing here.

It seems you are having ecchymoses.

It is due to trauma to capillaries due to prolonged pressure.

Take analgesics to relive pain.

Vitamin c tablets and rest will also help.

You can apply calamine lotion over affected area.

Hope this will help you.Take care.
