Noticed Small Bump On Lip After Oral Sex. Should I Be Concerned For Herpes?
A few weeks ago I had a small bump on my lip it was clear. It lasted a few day and it went away there was no crust or open sore. My throat did hurt when I had the bump. I m scared its oral herpes . I had oral sex with my boyfriend and I m scared that ill give him something. I don t have the bump anymore but for about a week my lip has been burning a little in the same place that I got the bump... I m sooooo scared. I do wear Chapstick all the time since my lips get sensitive if I don t have any Chapstick on. Help!!!

Not all peri-oral ulcers mean herpes, but you will have to get yourself tested for herpes to confirm this. In the meantime it would be best to avoid contact with your boyfriend to avoid transmission of any infection (if present). Please consult your doctor for the same, and seek treatment if any infections are present.
