had a nuclear stress test (because of bad knees) dr. said i had had a heart attact. then saw my cardiologist who had the results of previous stress test (also nuclear from about 5 years ago) said he did not see much difference in the two but did an EKG which showed normal but decided to do EEG which was abnormal so did cartiac cath which showed no heart attack and no blockage. Dr. said showed a shadow on my heart. he said no problem -- is this anything i should be concerned about?
hi,
as you are evaluated by cardiologist completely , don't worry about nuclear stress test , because some times the test my give false positive results due to artifacts and other shadows .
