Dear friend.

Thanks for sharing your concern.

usually nubness persists for two to three days in some cases.
therefore do not worry.

In case of nerve injury it will take some time for nerve regeneration.therefore just keep a close watch,it should recover soon.

Thanks.
Take care.

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Numbness due to administration of local anaesthetic solution usually lasts for 24hours.

Overdose of LA administered can lead to such condition.

Avoid lip biting as it can cause injury as well as bleeding from lips.

If symptoms persists even after 24 hours, please do visit your dentist.

Take care.

Hi
Welcome to HCM forum,
As per your query, it seems you have residual local anaesthetic effect on lip which will go off on its own.
Do take care of lip as it is numb.
If it persists for longer then do consult your dentist for any nerve injury.
Take care
