Numbness And Tingles Throughout Body With Headache. MRI Showed Cyst. Further Treatment?
I have had symptoms that have gotten worse since May of last year. I have numbing and tingling spread through out my body, words getting jumbled up, headaches , dizzy, blurriness, sun/light issues with my eyes, numbing in my legs and feet almost cold like, fallen a few times. blood work is normal MRI yesterday showed normal findings just incidental tiny pars intermedia versus Rathke s cleft cyst and right mastoid effusion .
Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. Tingling and numbness are suggestive of peripheral nerve involvement and it is seen in many conditions like diabetic neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy due to alcohol consumption, and vitamin B12 deficiency. I suggest you to go for investigations with the advice of your doctor like blood glucose, nerve conduction studies, and serum vitamin B12 levels. Supplementation with B complex vitamins and Vitamin B 12 injections will help to treat any underlying deficiencies. Therefore consult the physician for further management. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
