Occasional Chest Pressure, Worse While Stressed. Anything To Worry?
I have been having occasional chest pressure or mild ache around my left breast anywhere from just above my left breast close to the center of my chest down the center chest area of the left breast to sometimes just below the left breast. It is worse when I am feeling stressed or anxious. It can last for 15 minutes or more and then goes away. It has been happening on and off for a few weeks. Sometimes, it has a mild burning sensation with it. Should I be seriously concerned?
Thanks for writing to health care magic. I can understand your concern.
You should be examined and investigated for the complaints you are giving. A ECG will help to identify the cause and if it is because of any heart problem. Another cause could be acid reflux from the stomach.
But a ECG is highly advisable to arrive at the exact cause.
