Hello
you are suffering from s condition called sleep paralysis. It is not dangerous The whole sleep period is divided into two NREM sleep (approximately 70 percent of total sleep ) and REM Sleep ( approximately30 percent of total sleep) REM sleep is also known ad dreaming sleep
NREM and REM cycle comes alternate through out sleep
If a person gets up from sleep just before end of REM sleep he may go into this type of stage called as Sleep Paralysis

It is not reported to be serious Occurs in normal people ; in people who are under tension usually just before to sleep or on sleeping drugs and in somr psychiatric disorder
I will advise a patient reporting to me in my hospital
1. Get a psychological evaluation done if some thing is wrong take proper treatment
2 . avoid bed time sleeping drug
3.remain relaxed at time of going to sleep;may do relaxation exercises or light physical exercise before sleep
4. To remain stress free
if nothing is wrong take it as normal phenomenona of sleep cycle and remain calm duing paralysis it will go away in few seconds ormaximum minutes Do not attempt to move it will make you anxious

You may get in touch with a psychistrist or sleep specialist if feeling lot of discofort because of it

Thanks for sharing your problem withHCM panel Take care
