sir, My father is 68 year old. He has a little chest pain . Since last one week he is in observation and 24 hours ECG has been taken at BHEL hopital trichy. At the end of all the test the doctor suggested to go for Appllo Chennai. The doctor suggestions are ...First go for Angiogram next based on the doctor s suggestion we may fix pace maker. The doctor told that nothing to worry now. the heart pumping is good. My question . What is the reason for obnomality in the heart beat? we have a appointment 10th day from today. is it OK. please send your reply to YYYY@YYYY

     This information is not sufficient enough to arrive at an appropriate conclusion...One needs details of physical examination / one needs to see the ECG!
     Also, you have not stated his personal habits, family history, or co-morbidities,...which could have an influence on the diagnosis and outcome...
     It is probably disease of the conduction system (nerves of the heart). Angiography and Electro-physiological studies are almost always routinely done before pacemaker implantation...
Discuss with his doctor...
