Old Aged, Having Voice Hoarseness, High BP. Ct Scan Done. What Does Reports Mean?

Ct scan reports three well defined opacity, nodular lesions. Not well defined consolidations, small air filled cysts, minimal bronchi ecstasies, mosaic attenuation, fiberoptic bands in upper lobes. Please guide me what's going on. I am 70 year female with only voice hoarseness ans high BP. I feel fine no other symptoms. Could it be benign?

Hi.This could be secondary to repeated lung infections or parenchymal scarring due to a variety of causes. These would include sarcoidosis, secondary to obstructive atelectasis caused by space occupying lesion or hilar pressure, connective tissue disorders like Sjogren Syndrome,Interstitial or organising Pneumonitis. You probably have Pulmonary Hypertension which needs to be investigated further. The problem is from a long standing basic pathology and is not without cause.
