Oligomenorrhea, No Period After 16 Days Of Ovulation, Test Negative

Hi there. I am a South African doctor, but Obstetrics is not my field and so I am a bit concerned and would appreciate some clarification. I had a surgical termination in November at ten weeks, and before and after that had oligomenorrhea . However, according to charting, I ovulated 16 days ago, and still no menses. Also, a pregnancy test yesterday was negative. What would you suggest?

Hello doctor, some irregularity is common after abortion or delivery so nothing much to worry just wait for another week and repeat a urine pregnancy test. If still negative and you don't get periods then visit your gynecologist. All the best.
