On Minidiab, Glycomet For Diabetes Type 2. Blood Test Result 150 To 190. On Controlled Diet. Medication To Reduce Blood Test Results?
Dear Sir ,
I am Mr Zaw from Myanmar. I am 57 years old . I feel diabetes type 2.
I take medicine Minidiab 5mg before breakfast , glycomet 500 mg before lunch and dinner each.
I take exercises 45 min walking alternate daily . My blood test result is 150 to 190 .
I would like to reduce test result . .
I control diet ,never eat too much sweet . I am 5feet 5 inches tall and 157 Lb body weight.
Pls instruction me to take which medicine and time and dose .

hello,
there are plenty of good ral anti diabetic medicines are available which can keep your blood sugar levels under control for substantial period of years.
You may either increase the dose of minidiab to 5 mg twice a day or may even add VOGLIBOSE to your current treatment.
The best would be to discuss with your treating doctor and get your prescription revised.
Keep control of your diet but do exercises daily for 45 minutes every day.
Keep control of your blood pressure as well as cholesterol also.
Keep in regular touch with your treating doctor.

Type 2 DM, with BMI 27.26 (over weight) and on Glucomet 500mg BD and Minidiab 5 mg. Glycomet before food and Minidiab with food. But your sugur level 150 to 190. Whats your FBS, PPBS and HbA1c. What is your daily calorie intake and your work. What type of walking you do. When you started drug and when you changed the regimen. Based on these we can optimize your drug and plan for your exercise and diet. Hope lipid profile and renal test(microproteinuria) are normal.
