On Birth Control. Had Unprotected Sex. Now Had An Early Period With Dark Blood. Have Cramps. Miscarriage?
I am 17 years old. I was on birth control for five months and have regular periods. Today my period came a week and a day early. The blood is a thick slime and clumpy, and very dark red nearly black. I have been getting very bad pain in my abs, kinda like craps but I never had them this bad. I've been getting them since Thursday, it is now Sunday. Today I fell twice from how bad the pain had gotten. I have had unprotected sex and I think I'm having a miscarriage, but my mom thinks different. Am I?
If you used the pills as per the schedule the possibility of pregnancy and miscarriage is less. If you missed any of the pills or altered the time of intake pills then there is possibility of pregnancy and miscarriage. So you consult gynecologist, get examined and go for pregnancy test or ultrasound depending on doctor's advice to rule out the possibility of pregnancy. If there is no pregnancy, you can go for additional dose of hormonal pills to control the hormonal imbalance.
