On Birth Control. Missed Period, Cramps, Bloated. Is This Normal?

I have been on birth control for almost ten years, I forgot to start it because I was busy with work and by the time I picked it up, I was already a week behind so I just thought I would wait until the next month and start my pack. I've been waiting for my period so I could start taking it again but I'm a week late according to my 'my days' app on my phone. I feel cramps and bloated but nothing is happening. Is this normal?

Welcome to HCM.
If you had taken your pills regularly last month than there is no need to worry.
Now skip this month and continue it with 5th days of next cycle.
Go for urine pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy.
Delay period might be due to hormonal disturbances, diet, stress, over work.
Consult gynecologist for better guidance.
