General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for posting your query.

Are you taking the oral medication or the topical form of Clindamycin?

Oral form of clindamycin may cause nausea and vomiting. Stomach burn is usually not seen with it. However, if you are taking the oral for, please take it after food. Consume plenty of water. It should be gone soon.

The stomach burns simply means gastritis due to excess acid secretion in the stomach. There is nothing to be alarmed.

Get well soon.

Regards,
