On Fentynol Patches And Fell Off During A Shower. Very Dizzy And Clammy. Is It Due To The Patches Falling Off?

hi my dad is on fentynol patches and they fell off today when he had a shower and he forgot to tell me so I put a new set one after 10 hours went by but before I put new ones on he got very dizzy and clammy felt like he was gonna pass out I put cold cloths on him and he seemed to come around was I sapose to put new patches on and if so did this happen due to not having his patches on for so long

Yes this could be a possibility that because patch was not there for so long abrupt withdrawl can lead to dizziness.
