On Irregular Birth Control Pill. Had Unprotected Sex. What Are The Chances Of Getting Pregnant?
i am on birth control , and i havent been taking it regularly, well the last week i have taken it regularly and i had unprotected sex and he didnt pull out, and i took it the morning i had sex, but not the morning after. i am due to get my period in a few days, is there a chance i could be pregnant? and if so, would i still get my period?

there is high chances of you to get pregnant since you have not been taking birth control pill regularly..
but there is very good chance to avoid pregnacy since its not been long after unprotected intercourse.. firstly you need to visit obstetrician as soon as posible..
pregnancy can be prevented if medicine is taken within 72hrs..since you have not mentioned any time period i would suggest you to take advice from obstetrician as soon as posible.. pregnancy can be terminated upto 8 weaks with the help of medicine.. but the more you wait the more chances of medical therapy to fail.. first sign of pregnancy you would notice is missing of period..
you can also check if your pregnant by pregnancy kit available at any medical store and also supermarkets

Chances of pregnancy are high if your on irregular contraceptive pills.
Though you have taken pills regularly from last week,but pill don't give protecion immediately.You will not menstruate in case you concieved.

Since you have not taken the pill regularly, the chances of pregnancy is remain, however there are reports of it being minimal chance.
Remember a woman can be fertile from day 10 her cycle upto day 19 of menstrual cycle( if menstrual cycle of 28 days).
Please take a urine pregnancy test if you miss your periods to see if you are pregnant.
Its a simple test with a pregnancy kit which can be bought in a near by pharmacy and done at home.
I advice you for next time Kindly use other forms of contraception if you not able to take the Oral contraceptive pills regularly like:
1. Copper T
2. Condom
3. Spermicide
4. Colitus interruptus ( least efficienct method, here the penis is withdrawn before ejaculation)
5. emergency contraceptive pill.
