On Missing A Day's Medication Of Augmenten Duo For Sore Throat Pain Returns. What Could It Be?
Hi there. I went to the doctor 3 days ago and got given some Augmenten Duo for a sore throat (the pain was located down my throat on the left of my adams apple). I missed 1 day of tablets as I was away from home and forget them and the pain is the same as it was when I saw the doctor.. Is this just a sore throat?

Most common cause for a sore throat is actually a viral infection and will disappear in a few days , if however your doctor has advised you augmentin, then i think you should continue the same and finish the antibiotic course, please dont stop in between even if you have missed a few doses!!
Please gargle with warm salt water 2-3 times day, it will help
