On Periods, Flow Only While Passing Urine. Normal?
My period came on time this month but strangely, the period blood only comes out when i pee. The blood that flows out is red and thick like normal period blood. But, the problem is usually, i have heavy flow on day 2 and 3. But this time, the blood does not flow out much on my sanitary pad but quite a heavy flow only when i pee. This period is also shortened to 4 days instead of the normal 7 days I have. Is this normal and could it be implantation bleeding?
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.
Anytime a woman who is sexually active complains about a change in her bleeding pattern, the first thing that needs to happen is a pregnancy test. If the test is positive, then certainly this could be related to 'implantation bleeding' but it is silly to speculate until you have done a test. If the test is negative, then something anatomical is such that when you are positioning yourself to pee, then blood is aided in coming out. It would probably be wise to go in for an exam and an ultrasound.
I hope that this helps!
