On Testosterone. Does It Interfere With Healing Of The Wound?

Hello Doctor,
I've been on a cycle of testosterone (sustanon 250) for 3 weeks so far at a dose of 500mg a week . Just yesterday I have a deep laceration to my hand which has been treated and stitched up by a plastic surgeon I never told the surgeon I was on anabolic steroids . Do you think the extra testosterone in my blood will have a negative impact on my healing process ??

Thanks Wade (australia)

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. Testosterone replacement does not interfere with wound healing. If you have questions regarding the laceration itself, please consult a doctor.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
