General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
CCQ 50 contains 50 mg of Clomifene. It is used to treat infertility in women caused by failure or improper release of eggs from ovary (ovulation).
Recommended dose is 50 mg daily for 5 days starting on the 5th day of menstrual cycle.
However, it can be taken from any time if there is amenorrhoea (absence of periods).
This medication would help in the ovulation process about 5-9 days later after stopping the medication. Your possibility of conceiving would be high when you plan and have intercourse during that period.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
