One and a half months back, I had felt some pain in my abdomen two times in 4 days. The second time it was a little more severe, so I went to a local MBBS doc and he asked me to get an ultra sound scanning. The reports told that I had a 9mm stone in the ureter, he gave me some medicine, but the pain was like in the stomach or close to it, not flank pain. He gave me some medication and told me to take it for a month. After 1 month approx, I went to him and he asked to get a scan again, so I did it. This time, the stone was gone but the report said I had a stone in the gall bladder. So I went to a general surgeon in a reputed hospital to consult regarding the gall stone, he asked me to get the scan again, I did it. Now the size of stone has increased to double, and the report said it can be a calculus or a polyp, now the doc suggested me to get a CT scan for a better picture. What is happening, is this a normal situation ? P.S : now I dont feel any severe pain but sometimes a little discomfort which I felt even before all this.
