One Of The Eyes Becomes Very Bloodshot, Been On Diavon For High BP. Could This Be Due To High BP ?

Every few weeks, one of my eyes becomes vey bloodshot and it lasts 4-5 days. This has happened off and on for years, but only occasionally until last few months. I did see an ophthalmologist about this several years ago and he didn't find any problem. I have been on Diavan for high BP for a few years and it seems to have controlled it since BP has been in normal range when I've had it checked. Could this have possibly changed and so the bloodshot eyes are a result of high BP?

Hi,
From history it seems that this might be due to sudden rise of your blood pressure and might be due to taking some aspirin medicine for your any heart ailment where thinning of blood is required.
Keep your blood pressure under control and go for regular check up.
As ophthalmologist report is normal, there is nothing wrong in your eyes.
consult physician and take his advice.
Ok and take care.
