Ovarian Cyst, Headache, Bloated. Taken Overall G Tab. Will It Lead To Weight Gain?

Hi!! I was detected with an ovarian cyst and my adviced to take overal g tab once a day starting frm 5th day of my periods till the 24th day.for 3months today is my second day of taking the tablet and am having headache,not feeling too good ,little bloated and heavy also is this normal??? Do you put on weight with this medicine

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Ovarian cyst call as Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease ( pcod) in itself causes weight gain in young female .
Overall G (NORGESTERAL + ETHYNYL ESTRADIOL) is prescribed in & as contraceptive pill , endometriosis, bleeding disorder .
While dysfunctional uterine bleeding is a very common feature in pcod,
In my opinion you will not gain weight with the use of overall G , but if you gain weight then it may be due to ovarian cyst.
So in my opinion get in one more ultrasound of ovaries and take opinion and treatment of another Gynecologist ( 2nd),
