Overweight, Have Rapid Heart Beats, Chest Pain During The Day, Have Normal Reports. Is It Due To Obesity?
I m a 17 year old boy, with a rather fast beating heart, i experience a lot of chest pain during the day, but not the ones that hurts too badly. I ve been checked at the hospital, and they say that there s nothing wrong with my heart, nor anything of the relevant things. I m a bit overweight , could that be causing it? Kinda afraid that i might just get a heart attack some day.
As you have a fast beating heart and occasional chest pain the most basic investigation would be to get an E.C.G done which will tell you whether you have any rhythm abnormalities. The next test would be am echocardiogram which will tell you if your hert has any structural defect like diseased valves. You can also get a holter monitoring done that is a 24 hr recording of your E.C.G.All these tests will tell you if you need to be worried regaring your heart If all the tests are negative you need to reduce your weight, eat a lot of fruits andadopt a healthy lifestyle
