General & Family Physician, Dr. P. Mahesh's Response
Hi Usha,
Welcome to HCM.
Although your follicular growth was started on wrong day ( it should preferably commence on 7th day of the cycle or earlier, to know the base line position of the ovaries and endometrium), from the data provided by you, it appears that ovulation occurred between 14th and 15th day of your cycle. To get pregnant, ovulation is must, when the ovum is released from the ruptured follicle. Either Intrauterine Insemination or intercourse should be timed around that time, to become pregnant.
Wish you all the best.
