Pain After Root Canal Treatment, Taken Medicines, Uneasiness In Chest. Reason?
i have taken last night one mytiflam tab, one tresmox LB D tab and one metrogyl 400 due to pain after root canal of my upper teeth and after one hour I am feeling uneasyness in the chest and feeling something is blocking and was unable to sleep in the night and I am also not comfortable after getting up in the morning pl may I know what could be the reason

hi, thanks for your query. many times antibiotics and pain killers like the ones you are taking can cause severe acidity which feels like chest pain. ideally, it should be relieved if you take an antacid prior to taking your other medicines. you may feel better with cold milk as well. still, you must inform your dentist about your problem and take his opinion as we'll to rule out allergy to the medication. Uneasiness in chest can be due to the medications prescribed to you i would suggest you to take an antacid like tab rantac half an hour before meals.
Also take a cup of cold milk when feel discomfort.
If you are having pain in the root canal treated tooth consult to the concerned Dentist and get the x-ray done.

As you are taking antibiotics,you should take medicine which controls the acidity
because the common adverse effect of antibiotics is the increased acidity,burning sanastion in chest,diarrhea or constipation.
It also causes the discomfort in stomach like fullness or mild pain.
to avoid this,follow the following things:
1)you should take medicine which controls the acidity,(like Cap.Omeprazole 500mg,half n hour before food)prescribed by your dentist.
2)take other medicines after food
3)drinking cold milk before going to bed also helps in reducing he discomfort in stomach.
