Pain Daily On Exertion After 2 Stents With One Being Located In Curve Of An Artery And Cannot Be Stented
I HAVE CAD WIRH TWO STENTS. THE DOCTOR LEFT AND 80% UE TO IT BEING LOCATED IN A CURVE OF AN ARTERY. HE SAYS THIS CANNOT BE STENTED AND THEY DO N OT WANT TO DO A CABG. HE IS TREATING IT WTIH MEDICATION AND I WANT TO KNOW IF I WILL BE ABLE TO RETURN TO WORK. I HAVE PAIN DAILY AND ON EXERTION. HE SAYS IF I HAVE A MI THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN HAVING SURGERY.
It seems there was a minor branch with 80% obstruction which they couldn't stent and it didn't worth to go for CABG. If it gets occluded, then a minor heart attack will happen. But there are good chances that it will stabilize with time. You should take your medications. I think you will start to feel better during a month.
Hope I could help you
Wishing you good health
