Pain In Arm Between Shoulder & Elbow Due To Liver?

I am having pain in my left arm between my shoulder and elbow. My arm has hurt for a couple of months now and it hurts most of the time. The pain is a nagging 3 to 4 most of the time except when I m trying to dress then it is worse. Some times I feel like it may be swollen. The acupuncturist says the pain is from my liver. I slept with my arm elevated last night and woke up without pain, but hurt all day today.

Welcome at HCM...
I have gone through your query and being your doctor I completely understand your health concerns....
Based upon the history you have provided I don't think your pain is secondary to liver pathology.
You should consult an orthopedic surgeon if it is developing swelling. You should not worry for your liver.
Meanwhile continue with your routine chores and use acetaminophen to relieve pain and meet an orthopedic surgeon.
Get your liver functions test done if you are really concerned about your liver..
Hope your query is adequately answered..
