Pain In Belly Button Followed By Large Bump Right Over Belly Button, Smelly Discharge From Around The Growth. Suggest
Started with pain in my belly button, a day later noticed a small bump in my belly button and pain when I bent over or pressed it, now the growth is so large or makes it look as if I have an outy belly button and there's a noticeable lump right above my belly button that's very painful. Smelly discharge from around the growth as well
After reading your post, it seems that pus collection has developed in the area you have mentioned.
I would suggest that you should contact medical aid for drainage of pus under aseptic conditions.
You should also take an antibiotic course along with an anti inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with serratiopeptidase and an antacid like Omeprazole 40 mg once a day.
Culture/Sensitivity test of pus discharge will help in knowing the appropriate antibiotic for the infection.
If the problem persists, get yourself clinically examined.
I hope this is helpful to you. Thanks.
