Pain In Chest, Cough. X-rays Taken And Pleurisy. Administered With Neocitrin, Advil, Tylenol Cough, Dayquil. Suggestion?

i have had pain in my chest going to my back for 5 weeks now...i went to hospital they exrayed 5 weeks ago and said i have plurisy the following week i got the flew and have had it off and on for 4 weeks with the pain still there and heavey coughing and fever.
i dont have a doctor in this town and i cant stay awake long enough to sit in a waiting room at the er for 8 hours
i am thinking i need meds what do you think
i have done the neocitrin, advil, tylonal cough, dayquil and so on

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
If you want confirmation pleurisy ,then upload the Xray report.
As you mentioned in your query that doctor diagnosed pleurisy then , you have to take treatment and self medication is very dangerous in this disease.
Aspiration of pleural effusion is very important.
After aspiration culture of fluid is also important.
Physical check up by doctor will reveal the nature of fluid.
These drugs , which ,you mentioned in your query is not effective in pleurisy .
