Pain In Head Of Penis After Sex. Is This A Problem?
hi, i had sex with my long time girlfriend last night and after sex i noticed the head of my penis was throbbing a little, i thort nothing of it, but the throbbing is still there today but mostly hurts when i press the head of my penis, that was the first time we had sex in a while so its not like im over doing it if you no what i mean, is this a big problem. thankyou
It is not a big problem. During sex there can be some degree of trauma and the penis will hurt as much in the same way as you bumping your body against a hard object. It will slowly fade away and I would advice that you refrain from pressing on it as it only worsens the pain and delays recovery.
You may want to try some pin medications if the pains are unsupportable. Otherwise, it should slowly fade away.
Please, remember to always use a protection during sex as this helps prevents against sexually transmitted diseases. It helps against unplanned/unwanted pregnancies, too..
I hope this addresses your query fully and relieves you of any further worries. I wish you well. Dr. Ditah, MD
