Pain In Left Arm, Travels To Left Side Of Chest, Occurs While Crying, Non Muscular Pain. Cure?

Hi, I am 23 years old, female with no health problems as such. However, whenever I am very hurt or am near tears , my left arm starts aching and the pain sort of travels to the left side of my chest too. I have been experiecing it for a while now and it only happens when I am near tears. Also, the pain is not a muscular pain but feels connected to the nerves or something.. Thanks

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

As human brain can control many areas of human body, emotions can influence many areas as well. That is why it is possible that when you do cry, your nervous system stimulates heart and causes arrhythmia. And heart is the first thing you should have checked. To do that heart ECG should be done at first. The next step should be 24 hours Holters ECG. Full blood work, ions levels should be also checked.
