Pain In My Chest When Talking, Had Fever For 2 Days
Hello, it all started when I got a virus and a cold. I had fever for about 2 days, then it went away, and I got back to work which is related with nonstop constant talking! Now 5 weeks later, I still have scratching feeling in my throat , and burning pain in my chest only when I speak. Help!
Welcome to Healthcaremagic Forum,
This can be due to dryness of the throat causing irritation and also if there is any acid reflux, it can aggravate this problem. Take voice rest for few days, drink plenty of warm water.
Take care
Welcome back to HealthcareMagic Forum,
Itching in the throat can be because of 2 reasons:
1. Acid reflux from the stomach
2. Dryness of the throat (it can be because of less consumption of water, smoking or excessive consumption of coffee or other sweetened beverages)
I would advice you to drink plenty of water (preferably warm water or just plain unchilled water), avoid speaking continuously for long time.
Regards
Dr. Naveen Kumar
