Pain In The Arm Due To A Wound. Will Alcohol Consumption Ease The Pain?
Hello, I have a case where my friend got a deep wound somewhere around his arm, probably about 4 cm, he has cleaned and properly covered his would by now and also took an injection to dull the pain. By now the effect of this is gone and he doesn't seemed to be feeling any pain either anymore. My question now is if he could drink some alcohol in a painless healing state he is in at the moment. Thank you for your concern and hope to hear from you soon.
Hello, Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HealthcareMagic.
After reading the query I would not recommend your friend to consume any amount of alcohol during the period of medications. Alcohol is a known chemical agent to interact with multiple drugs. There can be minor as well as major reactions produced by these interactions which can be even dangerous too. We are not knowing which injectable or oral medication would be reacting or interacting with one another. So it is better that your friend should abstain from alcohol till the time of completion of medications.
Hope these informations will help.
