Hi,

The pain you are experiencing can be due to so many possibilities.

First common thing would be a pain due to gastritis. Proton pump inhibitors like Omez will help you in this.

Second, it could be a muscle spasm. Taking bed rest and simple analgesics like Tylenol will help in this.

Third, it could be an unstable angina. It needs to be monitored at hospital with ECGs.

No pain can last for a lifetime or years. There is a cure for this.

Please get yourself examined by your treating physician to know the cause and to be treated accordingly

Hope this helps you.

General & Family Physician Dr. Dr. Chandra Shekhar Sharma's  Response
Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

Chest pain is curable but proper diagnosis is required. Be optimistic.

When we breath in or out, our pleura moves against each other and our diaphragm also move.

Thus if chest pain is increasing on inspiration/expiration, in can be due to pleurisy or inflammation just below diaphragm.

As it requires examination and some investigations like x-ray chest, ECG etc, you should consult a Physician.
