Pain In The Ear On Yawning, Had Hurt The Ear On Jumping From A Height

I jumped into the sea from a height and my ear began to hurt afterwards. I am a diver, so considered that it may have been a perferated ear drum, however, the pain is not intense, after 5 minutes it went away, and now is only slightly achy when i yawn/ equalize/ swallow etc. Is it possible that the pressure may have put force on something within my middle ear to make it sore without it being an actual perferation? Thanks

Did you have any discharge from the ear?

Yes it is possible. but usually small tears heal themself and you do not need to worry about them. but we cannot be sure about the size of the perforation if there is one, without looking at it. if it is getting better i do not see a need to worry about it. If you have any discharge of if the pain gets worse or if your hearing gets affected in anyway than the scenario would change. if you have any more questions please do contact me
