Pain In The Lower Abdomen. Burning Pain In The Breast. What Is Happening?
Hello, I have had an ongoing pain in my right hand side for about two weeks now, it has started to get a bit worse, I feel it all the time now instead of intermittently. It is above my groin but in my lower tummy area on the right hand side, if I rub it is a bit sore, a very different sensation to the rubbing the other side. Weirdly I have also had a ‘burning’ pain in my right breast for three weeks, I don’t know if these can be linked in any way but it is all a bit strange. (its like a burning sensation in my right nipple ) I look forward to hearing from you. Aoife
The location described in your query is where your appendix is located. A few more symptoms you could experience if this condition is indeed related to your appendix is tenderness over the exact location, a belt like radiating pain across your waist, vomiting, nausea, etc.
The burning sensation in your right nipple might not be associated with the abdominal pain. Although further description of the appearance of the nipple/areola might help. Do you notice any cracks? Dryness? Change in color of the areola? Any nipple discharge? etc.
In my opinion the best option would be to visit a doctor at the earliest for an elaborate physical examination and if required further non-invasive investigations.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
