Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding pain in upper part of chest during swallowing, and stickyness of saliva in throat.

As per your symptoms it appears that most likely you are suffering from inflamation in pharynx along with GERD. The inflamatory pathology may have involve base of tongue, epiglotis or laryngopharynx this may be rule out by clinical examination.

You may take-

1- Antacid with PPI.

2- plenty of fluid orally.

3- Avoid spicy food.

4- Broad spectrum antibiotic.

I hope above will help you otherwise consultation with ENT doctor will become essential for further management.

Regards.
