Pain In Thighs, Difficulty To Walk Or Stand, Twitching Between Fingers. History Of Cancer Treatment. Is This Concerning?

My thighs have been having lots of pain for several months; i have weakness and can hardly walk or stand at times. Other times, it will apper to be much better and then suddenly may have lots of pain and weakness again. i also have some twitching in the web of my hands between thumb and index finger. I have had lots of radiation from cancer treatment and scans and X-rays. I am not sure what to think. I do seem to be making no improvement.

Hello

There is possibility of weakness and twitching due to peripheral neuropathy may be as a side effect of radiation.

In conservative management you may need strong analgesic and neurotropic medication.
I have seen good recovery after holistic approach like pranayama, meditation
So I will advise same to you, along with physiotherapy.

Change your diet and remove inflammatory foods such as citrus fruits, dairy products and wheat that may aggravate the condition. Simultaneously increase your intake of potassium and calcium-rich foods such as bananas and avocados and green leafy vegetables

Vitamin B12 is important in the maintenance of health and normal functioning of the nerve tissue and deficiency of it can lead to numbness. You can increase B12 level by taking meat and fish, or you can take Inj methylcobalamine 1500 mcg alternate day. [6 doses]

I hope that I have answered your query. Let me know if I can help you further.

Take care
