Pain While Swallowing, Feeling On Needle In Throat. Taken Clyndamicin. Recommendations?

I am a 49yr old woman have been having pain swallowing feels like a needle in my throat even when I talk left side lymph node hurts swollen under tongue went to dentist thinking it may be a tooth he put me on clyndamicin for 10 days still no better the pain even goes into my left shoulder if I push on the bottom of throat when I swallow it doesn't feel like im swallowing needles what could be wrong

Hello.Clindamycin is an effective antibiotic for throat and tonsil infections.
If your symptoms have not improved, you should go to your doctor
again.He will examine you and will decide if is necessary to prescribe another more powerful antibiotic (for example amoxicillin-clavulanate)or collect a sample of your pharyngeal secretion for analysis.I wish you good health.
