Painful, Bruising And Bulging Vein With Large Abdominal Mass On Lower Side. History Of Having C Section, Opening Of Incision Twice. Any Ideas?
I have a large abdominal mass on the right lower abdomen. It has been there for two months. It is painful to the touch and hurts worse with exersise. It now has some bruising and a bulging vein and looks plain gross. I had a csection four months ago but this didn't show up until 2 months later and my cs incision has came open twice What is going on?
Hi ! From your history, it seems like an incisional hernia to me through the weak caeserrian incision which had opened up twice. Therefore, I would suggest you to take appointment with a general surgeon in your area who can advise you on the further management of the condition only after clinical examination and may an ultrasound/CT scan if need be .Wishing you an early recovery.

Hi thanks for using HCM
Your symptoms suggestive of abscess formation, collection of pus could be from infected c section wound. You need to get examined by your doctor. collected pus needs to be removed, antibiotic should be taken depending on culture sensitivity of pus. regular sterile dressing of wound needs to be done.
Hope I have answered your query. get well soon.
Regards Dr. Vidya
