General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! You are right. From the description of the history of your bump, it looks more like a pilonidal cyst. For a permanent cure of this condition, you may have to get a consultation by a general surgeon who may advise you for a surgery under general anesthesia. Till that you may go for a sitz bath, along with some anti inflammatory drugs for pain relief. Wishing you good luck.
