Painful Lump Beneath Skin Above Waist Which Is Growing. What Does It Indicate And How To Treat This?

Hi,
I noticed a small lump[size of pea or lesser] about 3 months back, under my skin above my waist at the back.... didn't pain, didn't bother me.... ignored it, thought it will go away.... but in the last 3-4 days.... it started paining and has increased in size... may be like a bean sized... and I would like to know what it is and what I need to do.

Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having infected Sebaceous cyst.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
If there is cyst, go for removal cyst with sac.
Ok and take care.
