Painful Lump Under The Ear, Have Recently Had Sinus Issues And Ear Drainage. Is This An Infection?

I have a small pea size lump under my ear near my jawline on the left side. It is painful but feels better when I put ice on it. I have had sinus problems an a lot of ear drainage. Its painful to touch and has not gotten bigger. I've had it about three days now and also went to urgent care thwy said it was a fatty cyst but I think its an infection. Because its painful.

Hi!
welcome to HCM!
You ve a lump near your jawline under your ear, it could be one of two things. First, it could be a swollen lymph node due to your body fighting off infection. Secondly,it could be a benign infected cyst. chances of it being swollen lymph node are more likely, since its only of 3 days duration so its more likely to be acute infection.this will subside with a course of antibiotics and antiinflammatory medicines if given for your ear infection,no need to worry!
