Painful Sensation On Tip Of Tongue, Fleshy Growths. History Of HPV. Treatment?
hello i was wondering what is wrong with my tongue. about a week or 2 ago i felt a painful sensation on the tip of my tongue. i have now looked at the tip and it looks like as if there are red looking fleshy growths all over the tip and on the sides of the tongue. some of the outgrowths are long and do not look normal. i have been diagnosed with hpv in the past and believe i have tiny genital warts but i have not engaged in oral sex. i am wondering if what i have on my tongue are hpv warts. please help. thank you.
Hi, you are not clear that they are erosions, or protrusions, if erosions, they could be due to glositis, unattended. You may need to get it treated to prevent the conversion to malignancy. It protrusion it may be hpv. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. I may prescribe to my patients lacto bacillus along with other medicines to prevent further recurrence. Thank you.
