Painful Small Lump Under The Skin Between Anus And Testicles. Recommendation?

A few days ago taking a bath I felt a small little lump/bump close to my anus (between the anus and testicles). It is right in the middle and feels like it is under the skin. I am 40 yrs old and first time I felt this. I put pressure on it and i can feel a slight pain. But otherwise I dont feel any discomfort otherwise. What could this be or is there any recommendation to try before I need to see a doctor ?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Causes of swelling in region in between anus and testicles may be due to infective etiology like hair follicle infection ,prostatitis, cyst,STD etc.
You need proper clinical examination and treat accordingly.
Full Course of antibiotic can be given first.
Get well soon.
