Painful Sore Throat And Ears. Due To Fluctuating Weather?
Hi, I live in West Texas and our weather fluctuations during the spring are so erratic. I've been sick on and off for a month, have already done antibiotics/steroids. I was feeling much better until yesterday when I developed a very painful sore throat, traveling to my ears. It was in the 90s two days ago; today it is 50 degrees. The weather has been like this for several weeks. Could this be the reason for my sore throat yesterday and today?
Welcome to HCM. It is due to seasonal allergy to your body. Initially sore throat is due to seasonal allergy but gradually secondary infection in it so pain, fever is due to infection in it. Do warm water gargle.avoid oily, spicy and chilled cold drinks and other food. Start anti allergic like fexofenidin with montelukast with NSAID. Certain antibiotics like amoxy/clavulinic,azithromysin will be helpful. Consult your physician and ask for these drug and further better medical management.
