Painful Swallowing, Discomfort In Soft Palate While Eating, Hyposalivation. Habit Of Intake Of Vyvanse. Side Effects?
24 y.o. male taking Vyvanse irregularly- several occurances of painful swallowing, soft palate discomfort, only when eating. awareness of hyposalivation, but not uncomfortable unless eating. recall several instances but no common food; tonight- roasted turkey & green beans, bland, no sauce..., previously chicken, another time a peanut snack/ granola bar. Protein all instances??? Vyvanse taken early in day, reaction late in day, not eating through day though... Never occurred without Vyvanse.

Hello,
The discomfort can be due to Vyvanse administered.
Allergic foods ingested can also cause such swelling.
I would advice you to discontinue the medication administered.
Avoid spicy acidic foods.
Maintain oral hygiene well.
Oral corticosteroids can be administered.
Plenty fruits as well as vegetables has to be ingested.
